The “National Public Safety Alliance for Individuals with Disabilities” program (NPS-AID) is a national program that was developed to bridge the gap between law enforcement officers and our disabled community members and those with special needs. Through this program, law enforcement agencies and officers, along with individuals with disabilities/special needs, their caretakers and loved ones, are provided with essential tools, information, and resources to ensure that interactions are safe, respectful, and effective.

The goal of the Public Safety AID program is to create a cross-jurisdictional partnership between our disabled community and our public safety officials and agencies to ensure that potentially stressful or challenging interactions have positive outcomes for everyone.

Each chapter agency is provided with everything needed to standup, rollout and manage their NPS-AID program today and into the future, to include:

    • Access to the NPS-AID system and database for all agency users.
    • Agency branded chapter logos and branded community interface portal.
    • Full password protected access to the NPS-AID Learning Center.
    • Agency branded promotional materials and video PSA’s to assist with promoting your chapter.
    • Agency policy templates to assist with regulating the use of your NPS-AID chapter platform for agency users.
    • Press Release templates to assist with announcing your chapter.
    • Full community side record management, security, upkeep and unlimited data storage.
    • Training, Support and so much more.
