The Rockland County Intelligence Center in Rockland County, New York is now live on the OPS LENS platform. The Rockland County Intelligence Center is in close relation to the Northern Bergen County border in New Jersey (see map).
Any agency (with special attention to Bergen County New Jersey and other New York border counties) that are broadcasting LENS notifications to surrounding jurisdictions can now consider adding the Rockland County Intelligence Center to the deployment if the proximity or matter contained within the alert could impact that area.
To select an out-of-state agency that is active on the LENS platform, enter the notification interface within OPS LENS:
- Select the agency’s within the sending users state (if there are any to be notified) via the agency selection interface.
- After making the in-state selection(s), switch the state within the agency selection section and select the appropriate out-of-state agencies in the same manner as in-state agencies.
